These terms govern your access to and use of the Vivid Labs platform, including course purchases, subscriptions, messaging, and support interactions. Please read them carefully before creating an account or making a purchase.
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using any part of the Vivid Labs platform you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not create an account or use the platform.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@vividlabsai.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized access or credential sharing.
Vivid Labs offers two access models: individual course purchases, which grant permanent access to a specific course, and subscription plans, which grant access to the full catalog for the duration of the subscription period. Access begins once payment is confirmed. Free preview chapters may be offered at our discretion and do not require purchase. Subscription renewals are automatic unless canceled before the next billing date.
Our order process and payments are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases on Vivid Labs. Paddle manages billing, taxes, receipts, and refund administration on our behalf. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change with advance notice. Vivid Labs offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers and individual course purchases. For full details, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy. To request a refund, contact support@vividlabsai.com with your order details, or use the Paddle link on your receipt. Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days.
Course materials, including videos, text, graphics, code samples, and supplementary resources, are the intellectual property of Vivid Labs or its licensors. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream and view the content for private educational use. You may not download, copy, redistribute, rehost, screen-record for distribution, reverse-engineer, or republish any course material without prior written consent. Brief excerpts may be referenced in personal notes or non-commercial blog posts with proper attribution.
You agree not to use the platform to share credentials with others, attempt to circumvent access controls or DRM, scrape or automate access to content, upload malicious code or interfere with platform operations, harass or abuse other users or staff through messaging or support channels, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination.
The platform includes messaging and support channels. You agree to communicate respectfully and not use these features to send spam, solicitations, or abusive content. We may moderate, remove, or restrict messages that violate these terms. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.
We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, update features, or modify content without advance notice. Course content may be updated, reorganized, or retired over time. If a purchased course is permanently removed, we will provide reasonable notice and offer a comparable replacement or refund.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@vividlabsai.com. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, including payment abuse, credential sharing, harassment, or platform misuse. Upon termination, your license to access course content ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
The platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or continuously available, or that course content will meet your specific learning objectives. You use the platform at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vivid Labs, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Vivid Labs in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. Each party bears its own costs. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
